Snapshots of the event:2One of the key speakers at the summit was Garrick Ng (Head of Systems Engineering at Cisco Systems (HK) Limited). During the event Garrick focused on below 4 points:

  • Multi-layer security in digitalization
  • Use of “big data”, machine learning and behavioural analysis to secure information
  • Data security concerns with “The Internet of Things” (IOT)
  • Security models for Cloud computing and SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms

The tag line mentioned during the summit was “It’s not just about the ones and zeros anymore!”

One of the key take away points mentioned was – “Gartner say that preventing an information breach is impossible and that organisations should accept that they will be or have already been breached.
