On 17th February, Adjuno will attend the breakfast briefing event Artificial Intelligence – Rise of The Machine” organised by The British Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong.

Over the course of 2016, Artificial Intelligence made a leap from concept into reality. It turned out to be one of most popular tech buzzwordsin 2016, especially because of Google DeepMind Challenge Match. It was a five-game Go match between 18-time world champion Lee Sedol and AlphaGo, a computer Go program developed by Google DeepMind, Google’s AlphaGo, which crushed human Go champion Lee Se-dol convincingly in March. In fact 2017 looks like it could be most important year for AI as it will not only work towards what is possible but also what is desirable!

It’s an ideal event for Adjuno to keep up-to-date with the latest technology, this time, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and the machine learning point of view which is moving rapidly from concept to reality.

At the event, Leonie Valentine, Managing Director of Google Hong Kong, will discuss developments in the world of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how Google invests in AI research today. Google Translate one of the well-known projects of Google, now uses a new algorithm entirely based on deep learning. This will be an exciting discussion where Leonie will focus on how AI is set to alter the way we do business and go about our daily lives. She will touch base on what’s next for Google and what major developments are taking place in the near future.

If you are planning to attend the event, we welcome the opportunity to meet and share ideas, so do look out for attendees with Adjuno badge!
